to promote non-motorized trails along the Beartooth Front

We Need You

Since 2002, BRTA has developed trails and encouraged local nonmotorized recreation, thanks in part to grants and our fantastic volunteers. But especially as our operations grow, our annual budgets depend on contributions from the entire community of Red Lodge and the surrounding areas.

Any donation tremendously helps. If you'd like to help us out or give back, consider:

  • A $5,000 donation covers a year’s maintenance and repair on our grooming

  • A $2,000 donation allows us to purchase a season’s worth of new equipment for
the kids’ XC ski rental program.

  • A $1,000 donation pays for one day of trail work from a full Montana
    Conservation Corps crew.

  • A $900 donation pays for a month’s worth of snowplowing to access XC skiing
    on the West Fork.

  • An $800 donation pays a month of our lease at the Nordic Center.

  • A $500 donation covers the costs of insurance and volunteer-appreciation gifts
that we incur to do a Volunteer Trail Maintenance Day with a private landowner.

  • A $300 donation pays for a month of outhouse rental for the Nordic Center.

  • A $250 donation covers a month’s worth of oil and gas for our volunteer

  • A $200 donation pays for a month’s worth of printed brochures and signs to direct
    users to trails.

  • A $100 donation pays for a Mcleod tool for trail building.

  • A $50 donation pays for gas to groom the West Fork to Cascade Campground for one day.

  • A $20 donation covers a month of fees from our website host.
