The BRTA is helping to implement the completed trail plan for the community of Red Lodge. The plan identified the preferred location and types of trails the community wants to see developed for the purpose of transportation, recreation, safe routes to schools/parks and historical interpretation.

The plan will serve as a guiding document that will help city officials take advantage of trail building opportunities and promote our community as a pedestrian-freindly destination for visitors.

Construction of the airport segment of the Rocky Fork Trail is underway. The tentative timeline for completion is October/Novermber of 2010.
