<div>This event is a spring-time “Rumpus” or celebration of the low-traffic, mall-like environment that the water main project has created on Broadway in downtown Red Lodge. Our non-profit organizations encourage you to come out to shop, meet friends and drop by your favorite restaurant or watering hole, all in support of those businesses that have generously supported us.</div>
<div>There will be a RAFFLE with prizes of <span style="text-decoration: underline;">$100 each to five Fun Run charities</span>.</div>
<div>Shoppers receive a raffle ticket for each $15 they spend in a Broadway store or restaurant. You name BRTA (or another nonprofit) on your raffle tickets.</div>

<p>THE PALISADES TRAIL WORK DAY</p>
<p>Your local trails’ organizations are asking everyone in the greater Red Lodge Community to join us as we work on the new Palisades Trail.  This 2.5-mi. trail will join Palisades Campground to the end of Fox Road and will provide a new opportunity for hiking, biking, skiing, horseback riding. Montana Conservation Corps will start building trail June 2. We want to finish up June 8.</p>
<p><strong>What</strong>: An all-out community-wide effort clearing and building the Palisades Trail.</p>
<p><strong>Who</strong>:  Hikers, bikers, skiers, families&#8230;the whole community!  The more the merrier!</p>
<p><strong>When</strong>:  Saturday, June 8th, 9:00 a.m.</p>
<p><strong>Where</strong>: Meet at the Palisades Campground.  Carpool! [Take West Fork Rd. 1/2 mile from Red Lodge, turn right on Palisades Campground Rd., 2 more miles to the CG].</p>
<p><strong>Food: </strong>Lunch &amp; snacks are provided. A Celebratory BBQ will  follow!  <span style="text-decoration: underline;">PLEASE RSVP</span>!  with David at <strong>406-425-1944</strong></p>

<p>Mark your calendar. It will be good!   Sixth annual<span style="text-decoration: underline;"> Backcountry Film Festiva</span>l.</p>
<p>Details: Seven great movies, lots of variety including skiing &amp; boarding in Japan with Japanese drumming background music; awesome all-mountain sit-skiing; skiing &amp; boarding from the summit of Denali; an eloquent 11 year old environmentalist, and MORE! Film lengths range from 3-30 minutes, nearly 90 minutes total.</p>
<p>This is a <strong>fundraiser for BRTA</strong>, and it is a lot of fun. Great raffle items from local merchants!  New venue&#8230;at the <strong>Roman Theater</strong>, downtown Red Lodge.  7:00, <strong>March 1. </strong> Watch the Winter Carnival&#8217;s parade of Cardboard Classic entries on Broadway, have a bite to eat at your favorite restaurant, then head to the Roman for a beer, snacks and movies. $7 adults, $5 children (tickets sold at the door).</p>
<p>Winter Wildlands Alliance brings this film fest to Red Lodge for BRTA, featuring grassroots movie makers promoting human-powered backcountry recreation plus conservation efforts to keep the winter  backcountry available for all.</p>
