Join us Saturday, May 12, at Café Regis (16th & Oakes in Red Lodge) to celebrate BRTA’s 10th Anniversary and Outdoor Day. Here’s the schedule:

1:00 demos–Packing a Backpack; Map & Compass; Fixin’ Flats for Females (bring your bike).

2:00 demos–Knots; Basic GPS & Geo Caching; Bike Maintenance; Search & Rescue.

3:00 demos–One Burner Cooking; Leave No Trace Camping.

4:00 BEAR AWARE with game warden Matt Heaton & wildlife biologist Shawn Stewart, followed by bear spray demo.

7:00 BRTA updates, followed by “Outdoor Time in an Indoor World-Why the Trail Matters” with local, famous, outdoor writer GARY FERGUSON.

All events, appetizers, treats and drinks free to the public in appreciation of your support!

TAP 365 is holding a cross-country ski event at the Nordic Center. There will be music, food, a heated tent and beginner instruction. TAP 365 is a grass roots, non-profit organization campaigning to unite the diverse communities of Montana, creating strong social ties that oppose discrimination & promote acceptance.
