Girls In Motion

Saturday (5:30) the movie BETWEEN will show at the Roman Theater, with a raffle (including Solomon skis), as a fundraiser and awareness for girls to get excited about outdoor activities! Roosevelt School Ski Day

The first of four Mondays the kids come out and ski as a sanctioned school activity. Volunteers teach them to ski and lead them in an activity or a ski tour. (Do not expect them to crowd the trails, although the new Hut could be crowded at lunch time). Friday night, no matter the weather, Shawn Stewart, area Wildlife Biologist for MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks, will be Talkin' Turkey...yes, telling us about Red Lodge turkeys. There will be an eclipse. Come early and ski. Then ski late. Bring your own snacks and drinks...maybe enough to share. Our TENTH annual (WWA's 12th annual)! Great films of human powered skiing, boarding, biking; some culture; two featuring kids; some environmental and global warming (yeah, it affects skiing). Earth Day Events

Red Lodge will be going strong on this day with parks and trails clean up, maybe even some trail building, and a block party between the Library and the Arts Guild with kids activities and free food and drink  at 11:00! BRTA will have some of our free bikes at the party. Free screening of "Before The Flood" at the Roman, 7:15 Thursday, April 20.
