Friday night, no matter the weather, Shawn Stewart, area Wildlife Biologist for MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks, will be Talkin’ Turkey…yes, telling us about Red Lodge turkeys. There will be an eclipse. Come early and ski. Then ski late. Bring your own snacks and drinks…maybe enough to share. (We’ll plan to be fireside but if the weather really demands, we can sneak inside the new hut).
The penumbral eclipse starts at 5:40 (8 minutes after the moon begins to rise), and lasts until 7:50. Check it out at timeanddate.com/eclipse.
